To Receive Yours

• Ask your liquidchef for a liquid card and application form.
• The cost of the card is R50, which you can pay your waitron.
• Complete the application form and hand it back to the waitron serving you.

Getting Your Points

• When you paying for your bill, inform the liquidchef you would like to use your card.
• The card will be swiped and the points deducted.
• You will receive 7% of the bill total credited to your card.
• Your points earned will become available to spend after 4 days.

Redeeming Your Points

• Your points are treated the same as cash. No minimum balance is required before you can use them.
• You can redeem your entire available balance or part thereof.

I would donate a portion to a deserved community NGO or charity organisation, and then I would take some time out on a summer holiday, probably in the Amalfi Coast of Italy.
• If I were a cocktail, I would probably be an Old Fashioned. I love class, sophistication and attention to detail.
• My ultimate dream party experience would be with all my mates on Roman Abramovich’s Pelorus yacht (without him on it), cruising from a day party in Mykonos to Ibiza.
• My favourite place to go out for a drink in South Africa? Late January on the beach in Plettenberg Bay.
• My favourite song at the moment is based on Bheki Cele’s (the South African Police Commissioner) address to the SAPS to have their stomachs in and chests out. Google it, it is hilarious.
• If I could live the life of any celebrity for a day I would probably choose to be that “footballer” that scores the winning goal in the 90th minute of an intense 0-0 game, to either win the World Cup or the Champions’ League Final.
• If I had the privilege to have a drink with anyone in the world it would be William Wallace or Elbert Einstein.
• My favourite LiquidChefs experience is being flown to London by a client, along with three of my colleagues. Our responsibilities included sampling some of the best bars in London. From a function perspective, it would have to be the function we did for Oprah Winfrey and all her friends.
• How do I live life liquid? I love what I do, and I make sure that I live the values of the business each and every day. I try as much as possible to live a balanced lifestyle between work and my personal life.

After taking the South African market by storm, LiquidChefs has continued to take its premium mobile bar service into the UK & European market. The summer of 2009 has seen LiquidChefs provide stylish bar staff and service to some of London’s & Europe’s most talked-about events.

First off, the mother of all European gay pride festivals, Europride, which took place on the streets of Zurich and was flocked to by party people from all over the world. LiquidChefs was proud, excuse the pun, to be able to be part of such a signature party. Thanks to the compass group, Zurich was abuzz with talk of the incredible cocktails being served up by the 21 hot bar staff from the fabulous 21m evolution bar.

Next up, The Grove Hotel, in Hertdforshire, just outside London played host to Zeitgeist. This is Google’s annual UK-based conference and arguably one of the best forward-thinking corporate events in the world. In keeping with the South American theme, LiquidChefs went the extra mile and created bespoke Latin cocktails using ingredients from South America. As a result, the event was deemed a caliente success for all involved.

Google also celebrated the culmination and winners’ announcement of their competition to find new artists, photographers and designers who would contribute to Google’s iGoogle themes. The event was held at the celebrated Saatchi Gallery in London and was staffed by seven of LiquidChefs’ best.

The advertising, marketing and media industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony, the Lyons, was held from 21-27 June in Cannes in the South of France. One of the main features at the awards this year was the exhibition hosted by Youtube. The brief was to provide healthy smoothies to all in attendance. The bar was consistently busy and served up the healthiest of smoothies created using locally grown ingredients like Goji Berries, wheatgrass, guarana and carob root. These were blended with watermelon, basil, ginger and macadamia nuts, another innovative twist from the LiquidChefs team.

Given the current tough economy in the UK and beyond, for LiquidChefs London to be able to service these premium events is an incredible achievement. For a proudly South African brand to achieve international exposure on this level is truly amazing. The continuous premium level of service that the London team operates on will only grow them from strength to strength.”

LiquidChefs London opened in Aug 2008 as an international franchise. Whilst they primarily service the London region, they also frequently service premium events in and around Europe. LiquidChefs are continuously looking for investors and operators for other international destinations.

The MiBar was one of the highlights of this year’s show, with everyone coming to find out what their LiquidDNA is. From touch registration points, consumers moved to the MiBar, which scanned their handprints to reveal which one of the specially-developed LiquidChefs J&B Whiskey Cocktails illustrated their LiquidDNA. Modern, Visionary, Sleek, Streetwise, Innovator and Maverick were the names of the cocktails which represented six different personalities associated with each person’s LiquidDNA.

Interactive touch champagne tables had everyone surfing the Internet, finding their images on the LiquidChefs Facebook Fan Page and Tweeting in real time off the stand. Images were uploaded onto the champagne tables live via iPhones and cocktails ordered straight off the tables, showcasing the latest examples of how LiquidChefs innovates liquid lifestyles.

Shai Evian, Marketing Director at LiquidChefs comments, “The launch of the MiBar opens up a whole new level of interactive, experiential marketing, as LiquidChefs embarks on a journey to bridge the gap between on and offline social media in an events and hospitality environment. “It is a landscape unlike anywhere else on the planet, so rarely visited and as beautiful as it is surreal. Seeing a LiquidChefs bar on the ice in Antarctica was definitely one of the most magical moments I have ever experienced!” said Shai Evian, LiquidChefs Director.

Palermo Like the city in Italy, this elegant and vibrant cocktail combines apparent contradictions – spiced rum, cinnamon and vanilla syrup with the fresh crisp flavours of a Sauvignon Blanc wine, lengthened with fresh pineapple juice.	Kiwi and Cucumber Martini Think tennis games in the 50s. Slices of fresh cucumber and kiwi fruit muddled with simple syrup, topped with fresh cloudy apple juice, vodka and a splash of fresh lemon. A refreshing, crisp cocktail served short over cubed ice.	Japanese Slipper We bring Tokyo to SA – fresh white grapes pressed with sugar syrup shaken with vodka, accentuated with sake, served straight up or on the rocks – a smooth, oriental version of the grape martini.
Rose Petal Martini This romantic floral cocktail is fused with an essence of rosewater, vodka and fresh litchi juice, elegantly shaken and strained into a chilled martini glass. Garnished with a rose petal. Tiramisu A heavenly mix of cognac, white chocolate liqueur, mascarpone cheese, charged with espresso and garnished with a chocolate sprinkle. It’s like the pudding your non-existent Italian grandmother never made you. French 75 A smooth, compelling mix of gin shaken with the juice of half a lemon and topped with sparkling wine. We salute US Army officers for creating this masterpiece during WW1… more distribution, and it could have prevented WW2. This classic champagne cocktail was named after the French 75mm gun.	Martini President Franklin D. Roosevelt shook and stirred the White House when he mixed the first legal Martini there in 1933. This highly sophisticated cocktail is served according to your palate through gin or vodka, garnished with olives or a twist of lemon.	Manhattan Manhattan cocktails at LiquidChefs are served as they were 130 years ago; with rye whisky, Italian Vermouth, Angostura bitters, a lick of orange – and flourish. The origins of the name are unclear; some say Winston Churchill’s mother created it in 1874. We just say it tastes great.
Margarita (straight up or frozen) We’ve put the style back into Margaritas with the perfect blend of tequila, Triple Sec, lime cordial, lemon juice, all shaken and strained into a salt- rimmed glass, garnished with a lime wedge.	Caipirinha Brought to you by the people who brought you… bikinis, this tangy Brazilian classic is made of fresh limes muddled over sugar syrup, topped with white rum and stirred with crushed ice.	Bloody Mary This classic favourite was first created in 1920 by Fernand Petoit at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, served fresh & spicy day & night. Old Fashioned The Old-Fashioned perfectly illustrates the complexities of Bourbon, America’s ode to the water of life. This cocktail expertly blends Angostura bitters, sugar syrup, Bourbon whisky and ice. It is served to you short, garnished with orange and cherry.	Bellini Giuseppe Cipriani was onto a good thing in 1943 when he combined fresh white peach juice with champagne. The bartender at Harry’s Bar in Venice was reportedly inspired by Venetian painter Bellini, whose work always had a slight pink tinge to it.

Liquid Pine This juice is a sublime elixir of fruit and herbs, muddled with passion fruit, fresh strawberries, limes and mint. All shaken with pineapple juice and served tall over ice cubes. It’s as refreshing as taking a walk in the forest, but without the funny bugs and yucky hiking boots.	Strawberry Mojito A Mojito that you can ask for all night without slurring once – enjoy a combo of fresh strawberries muddled with mint leaves, a splash of lemon juice and sugar syrup, all lengthened with fresh strawberry juice and crushed ice, served tall and garnished with fresh mint and strawberry.	Minnelli The daughter of entertainer Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli was enigmatic. So is the cocktail named after her; we smash up fresh mint and peppadews and add pineapple and cranberry juice, followed by a dash of sugar syrup to bring out the flavours. Shaken and served tall over ice with a fresh slice of pineapple.
Strawberry Daiquiri Tastes like the real thing, because it is the real thing. To make the strawberry juice even strawberrier, we add more strawberries, then blend with pure lemon juice, sugar and ice until smooth. This drink is served in a martini glass and garnished with a pineapple wedge and pineapple leaf.	Banana & Mint Shake A milkshake for grown-ups – fresh slices of ripe banana, coconut milk, sweet vanilla ice-cream and a big dollop of sticky honey. All blended till frozen, then served tall with a mint garnish.	Berry Delight A 60s Diner Delight – a big scoop of sweet vanilla ice cream, a handful of raspberries, simple syrup and fresh cranberry juice blended to a frozen mush. Lovingly garnished with a mint sprig.
Pineapple & Litchi Smoothie Pack away the home blender, we’ll do it all for you: a blend of fresh pineapple, litchis, mint, coconut cream, simple syrup and a splash of pure lemon, served frozen and garnished with a fresh pineapple slice.	Go Go Berry An antioxidant kick boxer – a handful of Chinese goji berries, fresh strawberries, guarana, ginseng, a hint of vanilla and a dash of pure lemon, blended then frozen. Served with a fresh strawberry slice.	Get up And Go Definitely worth telling your trainer about – fresh slices of mango are added to vanilla yoghurt, a tablespoon of muesli, sticky honey, all blended till smooth then served tall with a mint garnish.

This is a tale that started with two young minds returning from a bar-tending stint in London with nothing but dreams and 1000 pounds. Their humble beginning was met with no fame or fortune, but only sleepless nights and backbreaking work. Rumours began to spread, and quickly evolved into something else entirely. A body of liquid chefs. A collective of like-minded individuals. A movement.

The LiquidChefs story is about the present, built on a solid foundation in the past and a trend-defining view of the future. It’s about entrepreneurial spirit and youthful energy; solid business foundations and confident courage.
