Q: What days do you trade?
A: We trade 7 days a week.

Q: What time do you open and close?
A: We open @ 13h00 on Mondays and 11h00 Tuesday-Sunday. We close @ 02h00 every day.

Q: What is the age restriction?
A: 21 for guys and 18 for girls, although exceptions can be made with prior arrangement.

Q: Is there a cover charge?
A: Not unless we have special events or entertainment planned.

Q: What sort of music do you play?
A: We have resident DJs Wednesday-Sunday. The DJs play a variety of Lounge, House, Commercial and Hip Hop.

Q: How does your VIP card work?
A: The VIP card can be purchased in-store. You receive 7% back on all purchases made in-store, as well as other benefits. (Visit http://liquidchefs.co.za/venue/category/vip-card/ for more info.)

Q: What type of AV equipment is available for events?
A: We have 5 TV screens and two large projectors. We can loop pictures, videos and PowerPoint presentations.

Q: What specials do you have?

Q: What is the dress code?
A: Smart Casual – no peak caps, sneakers or shorts after 20h00.

Q: Where is the best place to park?
A: You can park in the Zone, Phase 2 parking on Cradock Avenue. We are situated on the ground floor next to Piza E Vino and opposite KFC. Parking tickets can be arranged for your guests.

Q: Do you serve food and what type?
A: Yes we do – we have a variety of café style food, sandwiches, burgers, chef’s specials, canapés and platters to share.

Q: Do you serve halaal or kosher food?
A: No – but arrangements can be made if required.

Q: Can I hire out the entire venue for a private or corporate booking?
A: It depends on the night of the week and whether it is during the day or night. Generally speaking, Friday and Saturday nights are not available for exclusive rentals, but exceptions can be made. Please contact Shai on 0836793308 to discuss.

Q: Can I book out an area or booth and how does it work?
A: We have multiple areas, able to accommodate 4, 6, 10, 15, 20, 40, 60 or 100 people. Depending on the type of event, we will advise what is most suitable.

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit for a booking?
A: If the booking is bigger than 15 people, a R50 deposit per person is required. A minimum spend of R100/head is also required. If the minimum spend is not reached, the balance will come from your deposit. If the minimum spend is reached, the deposit will be refunded to you or can be used to pay for a portion of the bill.

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol into the venue?
A: Unfortunately not. We are a fully licensed venue.

Q: Can I bring my own cake?
A: You are welcome to bring your own cake, or we can arrange one for you.

Q: If I am having a party can I bring in my own décor? Or, can you help me plan my event?
A: This depends on the day / night of the event and how many people you are booking for. We do allow table decorations for small groups and theming for bigger groups. We also have an experienced team of party planners who can help you source your décor/event requirements. Whether you need balloons, cakes, table décor, photographers, photo booths or other extras, we can handle the preparations for you.

Q: Do you have different packages for corporates?
A: We have packages to accommodate 20 to 200 people, for a cocktail function, lunchtime special, cocktail-making session, molecular mixology experience, comedy evening or karaoke event. See http://liquidchefs.co.za/venue/category/functions/ for more info.

Q: Can we learn how to make cocktails with you?
A: Yes. We offer a cocktail-making package for a minimum of 10 people. See http://liquidchefs.co.za/venue/category/functions/ for more info.

Q: What is molecular mixology?
A: Molecular mixology is the term applied to the process of creating cocktails using the scientific equipment and techniques of molecular gastronomy and turning liquids into solid (edible) cocktails. We have a specialised molecular menu served Thursday-Sunday from 12h00-21h00.
